The fuel never burns as a liquid
Bioethanol sits in a sealed 5-litre tank. The BEV® burner heats a small amount of it and burns only the vapours, so the fire never touches the liquid.
Bioethanol sits in a sealed 5-litre tank. The BEV® burner heats a small amount of it and burns only the vapours, so the fire never touches the liquid.
The FLOGS burner is shaped for a set of ceramic logs. The fire comes out between them – the look of a wood stove, with no wood, smoke or ash.
The BEV® electronics watch the burner – temperature and fuel level – and switch the stove off the moment anything is off.
The flue-free design needs only a 230 V socket and a room of 44 m³ or more. Extra warmth for the evening, not a replacement for your heating.
Cozo FLOGS is a freestanding bioethanol stove with Planika's patented BEV® technology and the FLOGS burner. The flames come out between ceramic logs, so what you see through the curved glass is a fire like in a wood stove – without a chimney, without wood and without ash. You switch it on with the remote, choose one of two flame levels and watch the fire for up to 11 hours on a single tank. The ribbed matte black cylinder is 45 cm wide and weighs 27.5 kg, so you can place it in any room of 44 m³ or more and move it yourself.

A single piece of curved tempered glass, 50 cm high, covers the fire chamber. No frame posts in the view.

Vertical ribs in matte black steel. Round from every side, so it works in the corner, by the wall or in the middle of the room.

The system supplies the burner automatically. When the 5-litre tank is empty, you insert a new one behind the lower door – no pouring, no funnel.

Switch on, switch off and choose one of two flame levels from the sofa. The panel behind the door (START/STOP, ECO, HOT/FUEL/READY lights) does the same without the remote.
Cozo FLOGS is in pre-order. You order and pay as usual; shipping of the first batch starts on 23 October 2026, in order of purchase. Delivery in the EU is free.

Yes, in the sense that the fire comes from burning bioethanol. But it is a different technology from a common bio-fireplace: BEV® burns only the ethanol vapours, never the liquid. The stove draws a small amount of fuel from a sealed tank, heats it and burns the vapour, while the BEV® electronics watch temperature and fuel level and stop the stove if anything is wrong.
BEV® stands for Burning Ethanol Vapours. The liquid fuel stays cool in the tank; only its vapours burn above the burner. That is why there is no contact between flame and liquid, no soot and no ash, and the flame height can be controlled electronically.
FLOGS is Planika's burner designed around a set of ceramic logs. The flames come out between the logs, so the fire looks like a wood stove. The logs are ceramic: they do not burn, do not need replacing and leave no ash.
No chimney and no flue connection. Like every BEV® fireplace it produces water vapour and a small amount of CO₂, which is why it needs a room of at least 44 m³ with normal ventilation (one air change per hour). Details are in the technical datasheet.
During operation there is no smoke and the smell is reduced to a minimum – a faint note of ethanol can be noticed only briefly at ignition and when the fire goes out. Use fuel with 95–96.6 % purity, such as Fanola®, to keep it that way.
It gives up to 4.4 kW of warmth, which is noticeable in a living room on a cool evening. Treat it as additional warmth and atmosphere, not as a replacement for your heating system.
Up to 11 hours on the lower flame level from one 5-litre tank. On the higher level the fire is bigger and the tank lasts shorter. The time is a laboratory value; real results depend on the setting.
A full 5-litre tank burns for up to 11 hours on the lower flame level. One pack of Fanola® Fuel 4 x 5 L covers up to 44 hours of real fire. On the higher flame level the fire is bigger and the tank lasts shorter – burning times are laboratory values measured on the lowest flame level.
The fire is enclosed by tempered curved glass and the BEV® electronics switch the stove off when they detect an irregularity. The glass gets hot during operation, so – as with any fireplace – an adult should supervise children and pets, and the stove should not be left unattended.
Yes. It weighs 27.5 kg and needs only a 230 V socket. Before moving it, let it cool down and make sure the fuel tank is empty or removed.
Bioethanol 95–96.6 %. We recommend Fanola®, Planika's own fuel, available in this shop in packs of 4 x 5 L and 12 x 1 L. Do not use gel, scented or synthetic fuels – they are not compatible with the burner and void the warranty.

Yes. Cozo FLOGS is covered by a 2-year warranty, counted from the date of purchase.
